Chandran is currently the Managing Director & CEO of Campus Angles Network, which is focused on nurturing and funding early stage deep tech startups that are incubated at university and institutional campuses. He is also the Principal Advisor at SSN Incubation Foundation. In addition, Chandran is a Director on the Boards of IIM Calcutta Innovation Park and SasMos HET Technologies.

Previously, he has been CEO of The Chennai Angels. Chandran has nearly 40 years’ experience in Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace & Defence, Financial Services, IT Enabled Services, Investment Advisory and Startup Ecosystem. Organizations that he has worked for include HCL Technologies, CK Birla Group, Rane Group, Ashok Leyland Finance, Reliance Life Insurance and Elgi Equipments.

Chandran is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the IIT, Madras with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Calcutta. He is a member of TiE Chennai, IIM Calcutta Angels and TiE India Angels. Besides, he is on the Investment Panels of Villgro, Forge, Startup TN, iTNT, VelTech TBI, SRM IST, SSNIF, TNAU TBI and NABARD-MABIF.
